EXPERT DISPUTE

Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

The short version

We store your ID and proof of address only to attach them to your own dispute letters. We never collect Social Security numbers or cards. Some links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission at no cost to you.

What we collect

Account details: your email address, your name if you give it, your signup date, whether you opted in to emails, your referral code, and the code of anyone who referred you.
Credit report content: the report text or PDF you upload, and the audit and letters generated from it.
Mailing documents: the government-issued photo ID and proof of address you choose to upload.
Progress data: scores you log manually, mailed dates, tracking numbers, and the results you record for each item.
Usage events: when you click out to a partner such as a credit monitoring, mailing, or credit-building service.

What we never collect

We do not ask for, store, or want full Social Security numbers or Social Security cards. Letter drafts use placeholders such as [SSN LAST 4] that you fill in yourself before mailing. Please redact full Social Security numbers from anything you upload.

How we use it

To run your audit, draft your letters, attach your documents to your own PDF, track your rounds and scores, credit referrals, and — if you opted in — send you credit tips and product updates. You can opt out of emails at any time.

Who we share it with

Our hosting and database provider, and the AI provider that generates your audit and letter text from the report content you submit. We do not sell your personal information. If you click an affiliate link, that partner collects whatever information you give them directly under their own policy.

Security and access

Your rows and uploaded files are protected by row-level security, so your account is the only one that can read your audits, letters, documents, and scores. Files are stored in a private bucket and served through short-lived links only to you.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is open so you can reopen past audits. You can replace or remove your mailing documents from the settings page at any time, and you can request full deletion of your account and data by contacting us.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, withdraw email consent, or ask us to delete everything. See our Terms of Service for the rules of the service itself.
